Begun in October, 2006 by the co-founders, Plow to Plate is a comprehensive initiative that combines hospital leadership and community-based programs to promote the local foods and agriculture as a critical means to well-being and disease prevention. Plow to Plate has been awarded the Spirit of Planetree Award for Nutrition and the Glynwood Center Harvest Award for Good Food for Health.The initiative involves as many facets of local communities as possible in the collective effort of disease prevention through healthy local foods and farms. And more so.
